Safety Skills Are Life Skills

IMPACT offers age-appropriate programs for Elementary, Middle, and High School. School-based safety programs range from 2 to 20 hours, and can be taught during or after the school day. IMPACT also trains teachers to recognize and respond to abuse and works with school systems to strengthen abuse response and prevention policies.

Physical self-protection is always a last resort. Students are taught a variety of verbal strategies to deescalate a potential threat.

IMPACT’s teaching team includes certified teachers, masters-level counselors, social workers, law enforcement officers and public health practitioners. Our curriculum can be tailored to fit with your school’s health, wellness, physical education, or violence prevention curricula.
